Shiney Ahuja's dark days seems to be unending. To add to Shiney’s woes, his judicial custody has been extended to August 13. The actor lodged at the Mumbai Arthur Road jail was produced before the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate through video conferencing.This is the fourth time that the actor has been straightway put to the judicial custody. The medical test conducted both on Shiney and his maid confirmed rape by the former. On June 15, Shiney was arrested for allegedly raping his teenage maid at his own residence. Action has been taken against him after the servant filed a case at Oshiwara Police Station.
While interrogation, Shiney accepted consensual sex but denied having raped the maid. But the DNA tests conducted on them had found traces of semen on both. The actor has been charged under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 376 with rape, along with wrongful restraint and intimidation. Shiney’s case has been moved to the fast track court for quick justice by the Maharashtra Govt.
