The iconic duo of Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan is finally back together for their upcoming project, Bhooth Bangla. At a star-studded trailer launch event in Mumbai, Akshay expressed his immense joy, describing the reunion as a "Ghar Wapsi" or homecoming.
After a string of social dramas, the actor shared his excitement about returning to the world of situational comedy. He mentioned that he had been eagerly waiting for Priyadarshan to start a new film, noting that he was "dying" to do a movie where characters find themselves hilariously stuck in chaotic situations.
Akshay also praised Priyadarshan’s unique ability to create clean, family-friendly entertainers. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the film brings together a talented ensemble cast, including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Tabu.
